A Little Help Goes A Long Way
The team has started a GoFundMe to help support the book launch of the upcoming book: The 20th Anniversary of September 11th, 2001 in New York – An Aftermath in Pictures by David Margules.
This book not only documents in photographs, the state of Ground Zero in 2001 during the 9 month cleanup effort but also touches upon some of the events that unfolded afterwards over the last 20 years.
The book begins with the catastrophic aftermath left behind following the most devastating terrorist attacks in American history and progresses in a linear fashion throughout. The images contained in this book are not only compelling but also at times painful to view due to the intensely decimated city scenes depicted. This book serves not only as a portal to the past but also as a beacon towards the children of the future. Even today, many young people are unaware of the events that occurred on 9/11 and how the attacks still effect us to this day. This book attempts to shed light on some of these events for not only the children of the tomorrow but of those of today.
